Interviews with people who make a difference in their communities and music performances too!
All across America, in every town and city, there is a main street, downtown area. Over the years some of these main streets have flourished, while others have become ghost towns, due to malls, big box stores and online shopping. Especially during Covid-19, places to safely socialize, spend money at mom and pop small businesses and local eateries, have become scarce and are in jeopardy of closing. And despite this, some folks are taking the risk and opening businesses and still serving their communities. Today's episode is devoted to just this. We chat with an awesome young couple, Eva and Bryan Whipple, who are small business owners of Soul Yoga and Lurking Class Skate Shop, on one those "main streets" in downtown Salisbury, Maryland.
