Special Guest: Adam Abel is a New York based artist working with Photography, Video and Film. We chat with him about his feature documentary Qalqilya, which tells the story of a Palestinian skater who dreams of building a club for his group of misfits who skate, do parkour and perform beatbox and hip-hop in Qalqilya,
a city in the West Bank surrounded by a wall. In the process of making this film, Adam and his Palestinian producing partner, Mohammed Othman, built a state-of-the-art skate ramp in Qalqilya in 2013. They recently partnered with US pro skater, Kenny Reed to launch SkateQilya, a youth empowerment program that uses skateboarding to teach art, community building and leadership skills to Palestinian girls and boys in and around Qalqilya.  Music Segment: Lythion's Disillusioned Man is performed. You can find more info on Adam Abel and both his projects at:
