In this episode your co-hosts Ilyana Kadushin and James Harrell speak with U.S. Kennels (a 501 c3 non-profit) based in Salisbury, Maryland. U.S.Kennels provides trained service dogs to combat wounded veterans who are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. They deliver this free support to veterans at the same time they are saving the lives of shelter dogs. How does a dog know when the veteran is having a panic attack or flashback? What can a dog do in these stressful moments for veterans and how do they train the dogs to do it? You will find out in this episode. Special thanks to Billy Earl Amos for additional audio content.
